Jag hittade till författaren Evelyn Chartres via en av de booktubers som jag följer. På Amazon hittade jag sen denna serie (4 böcker) helt gratis. Beskrivningen lockade och nu har jag läst första boken.
Till en början gillade jag inte de stora hoppen i storyn. Man får inte upptakten till de uppdrag Clara får utan hamnar precis där hon ska ta steget att agera. Samtidigt är det rätt skönt att slippa en massa information och gå direkt på de actionfyllda delarna. Undrar om författarens andra böcker är skrivna på samma sätt? Det går flera år i storyn mellan kapitlen och med tanken på hur boken slutade misstänker jag att detta bara är själva inledningen till serien. Det som började med en känsla av "jaha" slutade med ett "hmm, inte så tokigt ändå". Min nyfikenhet på fortsättningen är väckt.
